Careless Sons are Dickon Collinson, Rob D'Ath and Ben Donnelly, a guitar band based in London, via Cambridge. Forming in early 2013, the boys write tunes that are at once ear-grapplingly melodic, aggressively forthright and yet hopelessly sentimental. They have spent the past 3 years touring their refreshingly charming brand of literate pop rock across the UK, playing venues like Wembley Arena and Scala, gaining BBC radio play and supporting artists such as Lethal Bizzle, Childcare and To Kill A King.

The band return with brand new EP ‘Microwave Communion’. A rawer sound displaying the band's Britpop roots, ‘Microwave Communion’ continues the themes of love, loss, regret and redemption that ran throughout 2016’s ‘Heartbreak Major’ EP, but ramps up the aggression pointing a paranoid finger at the ghosts of former lovers, the tax man, and the North London soul vacuum. With ‘expansive’ and ‘earnest’ making way for ‘claustrophobic’ and ‘caustic’; ‘Microwave Communion’ is Careless Sons’ most visceral and fractious offering yet but retains their customary pop 'n' roll swagger.
