22 years ago this Wednesday just gone, Richey James Edwards walked out of the Embassy Hotel on Bayswater Road in London and, aside from a handful of reported sightings in the ensuing days, disappeared. His Vauxhall Cavalier was found at the Severn View Services close to the Severn Bridge some two weeks later. He was officially declared “presumed dead” in 2008, although his body has never been found.
